Canned motor pump, also known as packingless pump or hermetically sealed pump, is a type of static seal pump. It adopts an integrated "water pump + motor" structural design, where the pump and the driving motor are connected together and enclosed in a pressure shell filled with the pumped medium. The rotor of the motor and the impeller of the pump are fixed on the same shaft, and a canister is used to separate the rotor and stator of the motor. The rotor operates in the conveyed medium, and its power is transmitted from the stator magnetic field to the rotor.

Structurally, there is no dynamic seal, only static seal at the pump housing, enabling complete zero leakage. it is particularly suitable for conveying flammable, explosive, valuable liquids as well as toxic. corrosive and radioactive liquids.

Both the rotor and stator are equipped with a canister, preventing the motor rator and stator from contacting the material. Even if the canister is damaged, there is no risk of external leakage.

The pump and motor form an integrated unit, eliminating the need for centering during assembly and disassembly. it has low requirements for the base and foundation, with minimal daily maintenance work and low maintenance costs.

Without rolling bearings or motor fans, it does not require lubricating oil and produces low noise.

It can meet various operating conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, low temperature and high melting point.
